Our experiment had a big turnover towards the end because tea and Sparkling water were doing better than water which was surprising because our hypothesis wasn’t being supported but towards the end, they both died and water was the only one to survive after taking its time to sprout. My conclusion is that tea and sparkling water have a ph level around water’s ph but in the end, seeds will always germinate better with liquids they are used to in nature.
If I would redesign my experiment, I would investigate more about the liquid’s Ph to have more information on the differences in how they would sprout. I would also try bigger seeds to be able to see the progress and to see how different circumstances of germinating in nature can make seeds react to different liquids.
Thank you for always asking questions to help us make our experiment better and for giving us feedback on our liquids because it helped us know why the seeds weren’t germinating and why they were reacting like that with the liquids.
